what is reiki?

Reiki is a unifying, balancing and harmonizing stream of elemental energy. It is a gentle, yet powerful energy healing modality, that can be received in person or remotely. Reiki alleviates stress and tension in the body and mind ; it supports the body / mind’s natural capacity to regulate, release, and restore balance.

what are the benefits of reiki?

Reiki will begin a cleansing process of the body and mind. Negative thoughts and emotions, as well as accumulated toxins, will progressively be released. The cleansing process requires self care and patience. You may feel that you need to take time for yourself as your body, your psyche and your life progressively adapt to the cleansing positive energy of Reiki, and you will begin to notice that your inner and outer worlds reflect one another: the clearer your inner world, the clearer your understanding of yourself and reality.

Reiki sessions, in person or remote, are for people who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or carrying something they don’t fully understand—but can no longer ignore.In our sessions, the focus is on creating the conditions for your system to begin settling and reorganizing in its own way.Many people experience:
a deep sense of relaxation;
increased awareness of their internal state;
emotional release and clarity;
a feeling of coming back into their body.
Each session is different, and unfolds at a pace your nervous system can support.

I offer Reiki sessions designed to support relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. Sessions are available both remotely and in person (in LaPêche, Qc, Canada), allowing you to choose the setting that feels most comfortable and accessible for you. Each session lasts approximately 45–50 minutes and is tailored to your individual needs and intentions.Rate: $100 per session.

My name is Julie. I work with people who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in patterns they don’t fully understand—but can no longer ignore.My work focuses on helping you reconnect with your body, your inner experience, and your capacity to move through what you’re carrying—at a pace your nervous system can support.Yoga entered my life in 2004 as a way to relax, but over time it became something much deeper. As my awareness expanded, unresolved emotional patterns began to surface, leading to periods of overwhelm and exhaustion that ultimately changed the direction of my life.Through Reiki, meditative practices, conscious movement (Yoga & QiGong), continuous study of the Dao de Ching and the I Ching, nervous system work, and years of personal practice and education, I began to experience greater integration, calm, clarity, inner harmony and a sense of feeling connected to myself and to life.I learned how to work with my body instead of against it, and that became the foundation of everything I now offer.
